In order to commend Dr. Samuel Yin's remarkable efforts on engineering and technology exchanges between Taiwan and Russia, Dr. Yin was elected as vice president of International Academy of Engineering in 2010, the only one not from the Former Soviet Union Countries. Dr. Yin was also awarded the Engineering Prowess Medal by RAE. The Engineering Prowess Medal and the Engineering Glory Medal are among the three major Awards of RAE.
